Barb dear, I just got this tragic news late today, that completely shocked me and I am so sorry that I was not able to attend the service for Daryl. I wish I could have been there for you and for all your family. My heart goes out for you and I still cannot believe that I won't ever see Daryl again.... It was such a treat to be in his company and his witty remarks made me laugh so much that I always teared up. Today I had tears of sorrow in my eyes when I got AARC's email about Daryl's passing. He'll be missed by so many of us. You will be always in my heart, Daryl, RIP. Babett
We are thinking about you and your family at this time of sorrow. Daryl was one of my best friends and I have so many fond memories of the times we spent together. Daryl was always happy and positive. He was always interested in helping others and contributing to peoples happiness. Daryl always had a smile and hug for everyone he met. He will be so missed by everyone who knew him.
Hugs to the family

Dear Barb and family ,
Allan and I offer you our most heartfelt condolences . We have very fond memories of Daryl, his generous spirit, big smile, sense of humour and how kind and caring he was.
We can only imagine how difficult this must be.
Regretfully, we are not able to to attend the service but please know that you will be in our thoughts and prayers.
My deepest condolences to Brent, Dan, Vivian, Barb and their entire family. Scouter Daryl put a ton of great effort into the Oakridge Scouts and fair to say that any kid, parent or fellow Leader involved with Daryl had a blast throughout those many years. Lots of fond memories. It truly was a privilege to have had Daryl involved in my life growing up and beyond.
My prayers and thoughts are with you all today
Sorry that I will not be in person but will be there in spirit and prayer
God bless you all

I am so sorry to hear about Daryl's passing. Sending hugs and deepest condolences to you, Barb and family.♥️
So sorry to hear of Daryl's passing; I worked for Daryl for a short time at CMSA and then worked with him when I was General Manager of Blizzards. He was such a kind hearted man who was always looking to promote youth soccer in positive ways, forever had a smile on his face and had the patience of a saint.
My condolences to Barb and his family, he was one of the good guys who has left us way too early.
We are deeply saddened to hear about the loss of Daryl Leinweber. Please accept our heartfelt condolences on behalf of Calgary Foothills Soccer Club and our Foothills Soccer Community.
Daryl's contributions to the Calgary Minor Soccer Association were undoubtedly significant, and his passion for the sport was truly inspiring. His dedication to fostering a positive environment for young athletes and his commitment to the growth of soccer in the community will always be remembered.
During this difficult time, we hope that Daryl's family, friends, and all those who were touched by his kindness find comfort and strength in the memories they shared. Our thoughts and prayers are with them, as well as with the entire Calgary Minor Soccer Association community that worked with Daryl along the way.
Daryl's legacy will continue to live on in the hearts and minds of those who had the privilege of knowing him, and his impact on the soccer community will not be forgotten.
With deepest sympathies,
Colin Mackay on behalf of Calgary Foothills Soccer Club
My sincerest condolences to Barb and the entire Leinweber family and circle of friends. I have had the pleasure of knowing Daryl for many, many years and without doubt he was such a kind, caring, compassionate man who was able to bring humour to everyone around him. An inspirational leader that has been lost too early; our sport has lost a man who cared about the most important people in our sport "the players". RIP Daryl you will be missed!!!

I had the joy of working with Daryl at CMSA many moons ago, and he was always upbeat with a big smile and positive words for everyone around him. He made a big difference in the lives of many kids in the interest of soccer. I'm sure he will be missed by more people than one can imagine. Wishing the best possible to all friends and family during this difficult time.
Thinking & praying for you, Barbara. I’ve known Daryl since elementary and he was one of the good guys. He will be missed
I was so sorry to learn of Daryl's passing. He was such a force for CMSA, engaging inspirational leadership in developing a great team, he made a huge difference for the sport in Calgary. I have a very fond memory of the first time I met him at a conference in eastern Canada and he asked if I would be interested in being on the Board. YES! Many great years with the organization that I
treasure. Condolences to the family, he will be missed.
Our deepest condolences to the family. Daryl was full of wisdom, kindness and understanding. He was always so approachable. I am grateful for the opportunities you have given me at CMSA. I look back at my time there with nothing but find memories.

Barb and Family,
I was so heartbroken to hear of Daryl's passing..I was planning to visit him when I was in Calgary in July. Daryl was honestly the best boss that I have ever had the pleasure of working for. He was one of a kind and gave so much to the youth of CMSA. His commitment and dedication did not go unnoticed and his passion was inspiring. He thought the world of his family and I hope that you all allow your memories to comfort you during this very difficult time.
Daryl, I will never forget the kindness and support that you offered me at an early time in my career. I learned so much from you and I will continue to use those skills moving forward. Thanks for being awesome. Rest in peace my friend.
Daryl will be missed. His smile and sense of humor were contagious. I will miss my friend
Barb and Family.
I am so sorry to hear about Daryl. I was fortunate enough to have worked with him closely at CMSA for 7 years and I have many fond memories of his passion and dedication for soccer and the youth of Calgary. He was a model boss, and I will always remember his sense of humour, kindness, generosity, and smile. He touched many, many lives and he leaves a legacy to be proud of. He will be missed and remembered fondly my many.
A fantastic human, so kind to our family over the many years at St Peter’s Anglican Church. Darryl and I used to chat Flames and Stamps post service. The last time I saw him, was post my dad’s funeral and I wasn’t in the mood to sit inside for church services. I would sit outside week after week. One day Darryl sat at the next chair, and simply had a chat. He knew I was hurting from losing my dad, and he understood why I wasn’t coming inside. His words of encouragement and compassion eventually got me back inside, and I’ll never forget it. Darryl will be missed. My condolences to Barb and the family. Lincy
