Obituary of Bert Lehmann

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our beloved father Bert Lehmann on Sunday, July 2, 2023.
Bert was born in Berlin, Germany on Augst 19, 1949 and immigrated to Calgary, Alberta in 1957. In his younger years, his passion for aviation flourished. He bought his first plane and took a lot of people on a hell of a ride.
On April 1, 1980, he founded Allspan, and built the city of Calgary that a lot of you call home. Bert lived and breathed Allspan. If you knew Bert, you would know that he was a very outspoken, straight to the point, honest, and loving man.
Bert is survived by his sons, Brett (Leanne) Lehmann, Colin (Robyn) Vaughan-Lehmann, sisters Monika Sinkewicz and Ingrid (Lyle) Schell, and multiple grandchildren.
Bert was predeceased by his wife, Karen, parents Marianne and Herman Lehmann, and his sister Brigitte Adam.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Carnmoney Gold Course (44001 Dunbow Rd, De Winton, AB T1S 4X7) on Saturday, July 15, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. Condolences, memories, and photos may be shared and viewed here.
