Condolences
Linda was a vital part of our Scottish dance group...always considered one of our most delightful and elegant dancers...we shared many grand times both on and off the dance floor...she seemed to take life as it came..never letting the downs affect her joie de vivre...one of her favorite expressions in my memory was "nae tother aball"(no bother at all) and seemed to live this thruout her days....she was spirited ..talented..funny...generous and accomplished...could put her hand to anything...this is a poem which describes her completely...
a warm heart shall never lack a fire
however far she roam
although she lives forever among strangers
she cannot lack a home
for strangers are not strangers to her spirit
and each house seems her own
and by the fire of her loving kindness
she cannot sit alone
kathryn mccallum pipes and all your kindred Scottish friends and dancers..

Uncle John. Maureen Ian and family xx
You were a breath of fresh air. A loving, caring and strong character. You held great values, were extremely energetic and talented. You surrounded yourself with beautiful things and you were very artistic. A very tolerant person, but not one to suffer fools nor afraid to represent those with a lesser voice.Admirable. You brought a smile to so many faces with your infectious humour and comment. Your granddaughters adored you as much as you clearly adored them.Your children are a credit to you. There will always be a part of you here in Scotland. We will keep that alive. Thank you for your kindness and our brief but meaningful time together in Canada. Sleep well xx
Linda was unique, special and unapologetically herself at all times. She loved hard and her infectious energy and big heart were adored by all who loved her. It was a privilege to know Linda, spend time with her and to be part of her family. I will cherish our fun Scottish adventures and remember the many stories and family history you taught me. I hope you feel the love radiating from so many of us Linda. I will remember you so fondly. All my love, Melanie.
We will miss you so much Gran Sugarloaf (Super Gran), you taught us many things, told wonderful stories and sang funny songs. You were a fun, funny and wacky Gran who loved adventures and laughs. You were a kind and loving mother in law, you taught me many things about being a mom and taking care of and growing my garden and our family. I will miss you forever.
Love,
Christina
