Condolences
Rest in peace, my dear cousin, Shelley. You have suffered with pain for nearly 30 years and never complained. Now you are with your family in heaven, including your brother and sister in the last four years. Thank you Ed for taking such great care of our beloved Shelley. We were very happy that she had a partner that loved her dearly, and in the last years, a caregiver each and every day. Shelley, you will be missed by all who knew you. All my love cousin, Gayle.
Shelley and I met 30 years through her sister, Candace while bowling. Shelley and I hit it off from the beginning and had many fun times, from going to Great Falls and her cheering Candace and me while bowling, to going out for wings and playing our favorite VLT. I am so grateful that she was a part of my life, and will miss her dearly. RIP my dear friend, until we meet again. Love you!

Shelley and I were part of a group of 29 Vickers cousins growing up in Western Canada. In the early days we crossed paths at family gatherings, trips to the mountains and assorted family celebrations. In spite of the many challenges Shelley faced, she always greeted everyone with that beautiful ‘Shelley’ smile.
You will be missed, Shell.
It has been a hard week trying to come to terms with your loss. We met when we were 12 years old, and yes that was a while ago, but the years seem to have gone by so quickly and with so many memories it will take a long time to sift through them all. There have been happy times, sad times, mad times and very loving times. Lots of secrets shared. All the up and downs that friends experience when they have had so many years together. I thought they would never end. I am thankful for technology which has left me with a number of texts from the past weeks that I can read over and over as if you were still here with us.
You will be sorely missed by those who took the time to know you but I am glad that your suffering will end.
How lucky you have been to have Ed by your side to help you during those down times. Often thought that you had to shoulder more heartbreak than most, but you came through it all like the trooper you have always been. I will miss you so much but will continue to 'talk' to you often. Always part of my heart.
Shelley was always so upbeat and friendly, no matter what her physical circumstances were. She made such an impression on me over the years. I looked forward to seeing her and having a quick chat each time she was in the clinic. Such a loving and kind lady. Ed, you were so perfect together. She will be missed.
Shelley and I have been friends nearly 30 years. We worked together for several years as well as becoming real good friends. I am so glad that I got to see her before her passing while she was in the hospital. I definitely will miss her. Thank you Ed for taking such good care of her. I loved you dear Shelley.
