In 2017 when we went to Montreal for a choir trip I was really scared. I don’t like flying at all. Eugene was so nice and comforting and told me we’d all be ok and make it safely. He didn’t know me well but took the time to comfort someone who was scared. That’s the kind of person he was. I will never forget that. My heart is heavy.
