Condolences
My Deepest Sympathy to the Family of Duncan, I am sorry I don’t know him but I know his Son Scott as he is the Partner of my Granddaughter, Nicolle Bradley, if he was like Scott he was a great man. Nicolle lost her Father July 4, 2023 so both are dealing with great grief. Helen Bradley
Duncan was larger than life and a King amongst men!!! I will always remember his laugh and his great sense of humor. When I would tell my wife of our stories while working with Duncan at Alberta Transportation, she would cry form laughter!! She wish that she would have been able to have met him in person. I will always miss how we used to always clinch up ala Stampede Wrestling Style every time we saw each other!! Every time!! We never missed a clinch, ever!! Rest in Peace my brother until we see each other again someday. Me and my wife Renee express our most sincerest condolences to Duncan's family.
I knew Duncan from our teenage years through lacrosse and football, both as a teammate and by playing against him on opposing teams. Playing with Duncan, I learned that he was a great teammate and was selfless in putting the interests of the team above himself. When playing against Duncan, I learned that he was a fair, respectful, and talented opponent. As great an athlete as Duncan was, he was an even better person.
I had not seen Duncan for a long time and was very sad to learn of his health issues and death. Thinking of Duncan brought back many fond memories. My condolences to his family and especially to his brother Michael, whom I also played with on sports teams. May he rest in peace. He will be remembered.
Our deepest condolences to the McIntyre family. We had many fond memories of working with Duncan over the years. His sense of humor will be missed. May your happy memories give you peace and comfort during this difficult time. Ed and Maggie Huish
Mike, I wish you strength during this difficult time, my thoughts are with you and your family, I feel so lucky to have met and worked with Duncan, he was a very caring and thoughtful person, he had a great sense of humor that could put a smile on anyone's face. My most heartfelt condolences to you and Duncan’s family.
Duncan McIntyre was my main friend in childhood and in early adulthood. I have fond memories of many adventures. He was a big, dominant athlete, and he led us to provincial lacrosse and junior high basketball championships. Looking back I think he had a kind heart. His common sense prevented some very bad situations . He will be missed.
I, for sure have memories of times spent with Duncan,
Always laughter, he had the ability to light up a room.
I’m so sorry for your loss and you are in my thoughts and prayers. Lorraine Coyle
To Brianne and Family,

With Lots of Love,
Simon, Janifer, Annabella, Victoria, Laura and Olive Hutchinson xx
I have known Duncan ever since I was a young girl. Duncan was good friends with my older brothers, and he dated, and married Maryann who lived four doors down the street. I remember going to the movies with Greg, Kevin, Heather and myself and Duncan sneaked in a whoopee cushion. I remember waiting to open Christmas presents because Duncan had to blow dry his beard. He was the funniest guy ever, loved his wacky sense of humour.
I would return to Calgary and at some point in my visit I was lucky to get the Duncan tour of Calgary. It was impressive the historical knowledge he possessed. Always interesting and never dull.
I will miss Duncan so much. He was the sweetest and kindest friend that anyone would be lucky to have.
Love you always and forever,
Margot MacArthur
So sad to see you go my friend. It was a pleasure to be a part of your life, especially in the lacrosse world. Heather an I always enjoyed the half time pints at the Roughnecks games.
Our condolences to your family.

Mom and Dad sent me on a special trip to Calgary from Ottawa when I was about 11 years old to stay with Mar, Duncan, Brianne and Scotty, I’ll never forget Duncan’s humour and warmth - I know he had great love for us all in Ottawa. My first ever plane ride and West coast experience I’ll never forget it, amazing memories with my much loved cousins. Thinking of you all during this difficult time. Love to Maryanne, Brianne, Tom, Scotty, Nicole and all of Duncans friends and family. Sending each of you a big squeeze and prayers.

Rest in Peace our dear friend, we miss you already!!
When I die and they lay me to rest
Gonna go to the place that's the best
When I lay me down to die
Goin' up to the spirit in the sky
Goin' up to the spirit in the sky (spirit in the sky)
That's where I'm gonna go when I die (when I die)
When I die and they lay me to rest
I'm gonna go to the place that's the best
Prepare yourself you know it's a must
Gotta have a friend in Jesus
So you know that when you die
He's gonna recommend you
To the spirit in the sky (spirit in the sky)
Oh he'll recommend you to the spirit in the sky
That's where you're gonna go when you die (when you die)
When you die and they lay you to rest
You're gonna go to the place that's the best
Never been a sinner, I never sinned
I got a friend in Jesus
So you know that when I die
He's gonna set me up
with the spirit in the sky
Oh set me up with the spirit in the sky (spirit in the sky)
That's where I'm gonna go when I die (when I die)
When I die and they lay me to rest
I'm gonna go to the place that's the best
Go to the place that's the best
