Condolences
When I first met Michael, he introduced himself and shared his passions for gardening, music, and computers. He was building a massive computer to store his extensive collection of recordings. However, I soon realized that his true passion was people. He was a genuinely kind and caring person who went out of his way to help others. Whenever I visited Calgary to perform, he would do his best pick me up from the airport, take me to the venue and hotel, often doing so on very little sleep.
I was devastated when Elisia informed me of his passing. It's hard to understand why such a good person like Mike had to leave us. Nonetheless, I will always remember him for his generosity, his infectious smile, and for being the kind of human being that this world desperately needs.
Rest in Peace, my dear friend.

Nadia and I are deeply moved to just hear about the passing of Mike in July.
He was an amazing person, with a great desire to learn and challenge himself to do new projects.
Mike was always there to listen, to help, to support, and to encourage others to keep going.
The loss of Mike is the loss of a great friend.
Elisia to you, a big hug, we are so sorry!!!
I was deeply saddened when I heard about Mike’s suddenly passing, I got to meet Mike through his wife Elisia, although little contact I had with him, but the few times at the association was enough to know how much of a generous and helpful person he was, sharing with so much passion, enthusiasm and joy about his curiosities, knowledge, findings and future projects. He also shared his gardening tips and pictures of flowers that he was so proud of to have in his garden. Mike will definitely be missed by many. Thank you for everything Mike! My sincerest condolences to Elisia and their families.

We lived beside Mike for the last 25 years and he was such an interesting, kind and helpful neighbour. He always had some interesting tidbits of information that he would teach us whether it be about gardening, food ideas or other life resources. We will definitely miss our conversations with him in the front yard or just over the fence in the back. Our thoughts are with Elisia and all of his family.
