Condolences
Susan's friends and colleagues at All Seasons Weddings and Clergy Support Memorial Church were so sad to hear about her passing. She was an excellent wedding officiant who easily connected with all types of couples. She was always up for a unique or quirky ceremony. We miss her.
Susan was such a kind and generous person. I met her at the U of C when we were both in the art program there. We worked on several projects together and I remember meeting with her to work on these projects at The Art Tree. Susan was always willing to lend a hand or share ideas. Her artwork was so whimsical. I will miss her very much. Condolences to the Haglund family for your loss.
Susan Fae was full of life. She was so kind, friendly, and appreciative. She was truly grateful for every kindness shown to her. She had Grace and calmness. I always felt the sunshine of her smile and the twinkle in her eyes. I am blessed to have known you. Your strength and faith are inspiring
I met Susan Fae through Instagram in July 2021. I saw her posts about walking with her little dog, Charlie on Nose Hill Park and that she created art with fabric, among other things. I live on the other side of Nose Hill, am an artist and had come into a huge collection of fabric samples. It was so random, yet so perfect, I just had to connect with her! After that we shared numerous walks on Nose Hill, and conversations about art making, music, nature. She picked a bunch of fabric swatches from my stash and I was floored by her intuitiveness and creativity in the things she made with them. I'd never met anyone who was so generous with their enthusiasm and gratitude for our conversations and connection. There was for sure a real sympatico between us. Sadly we lost that connection in January 2023; she pulled away and I held back. Perhaps we were only meant to know each other for a short time, and I've come to accept that at some point, we are all on our own journey and nothing is forever. But I will always cherish the short time we had as friends; she was a gift to those of us who knew her.
Dear Haglund family
I have the fondest memories of the Haglund family- Janet and I spent many hours at your house down the back alley when we were young. Your house was always filled with happy and loving noise, similar to my house. Susan was such a beautiful soul, I haven’t seen her in years but she was always so kind, and friendly when we were young and I’m sure that didn’t change later in life. Her Mom, Myrna was always so welcoming to us and I have so many great memories of that time. I am so sorry for your loss and the huge hole you all will have in your hearts. I am sending hugs and my thoughts are with you all!

Dear Myrna, Wayne and family, I am so sorry to hear about the passing of Susan. I had the pleasure of meeting Susan at Jamie and Nate’s baby shower. She said she was the quiet one. I remember her beautiful smile that lit up the room! Thinking about all of you at this difficult time. Hugs, Deb
To the family of dear Susan Fe, I am so very sorry for your loss. Your brave & positive daughter was beautiful and creative, and so thoughtful and so caring.
An artist of clever, intuitive prints and creations in fabric. I will treasure her art, her example and her inspiration.
God bless her continuing journey, together with Charlie.

Dear Myrna and Wayne, we were saddened to receive word of Susan's passing. She was a sweet, pleasant, and professional lady. We never hesitated to call on her skills for our many framing projects. May her memory be a blessing for you and your family.

My deepest condolences to everyone in Susan Fae’s family. The loss of Susan Fae has broken my heart. I was lucky enough to have had Susan Fae fir a good friend for many years . She lit up my life just hearing her voice. I will miss her everyday for the rest of my life. Each day looking at all the pictures that she framed for me and the wonderful hours we spent talking about art I will hold dearly to my heart. Again my deepest condolences to all of you.

I knew Susan Fae for many years in Calgary, and even after I moved to BC, we kept in touch. I always enjoyed her companionship—we shared many hours of walking, playing piano, doing art projects and of course, talking and laughing. I am blessed with treasured memories of her (and Charlie).
My heartfelt condolences to all her family.
Sincerely,
Veronica
It was impossible for Susan Fae not to light up a room with her smile; it was beautiful, contagious and unforgettable. She was so joyous and grateful for life and she really relished in it, even in unfavourable circumstances, which is very admirable. It had been such an honor to have met Susan Fae and a wonderful pleasure to have cared for her for the months she was in hospice (though that didn't stop her from going to cafes with the people she loved and enjoying her life). She will forever be missed and loved. -From a staff at Agape Hospice :)
We visited with Susan Fae and her dearest Charlie with PALS - she truly loved these visits and had a deep connection with those they visited with. I have one of her birds hanging in my home, which I will always cherish. Fly free SF, until we all meet again.
Love, Holly, Chaser & Ruby
