Charles was my family's neighbour for many years. A very kind and gentle man with a good sense of humor.

I have great memories of playing badminton with Charles, where I quickly learned his competitive nature and sense of fun. He was a good friend, taking wonderful care of my trees, and was always keen to share a laugh. My thoughts are with you and your family, Diana.

Our deepest condolences to you, Diana, and the rest of Charles' family. He was a kind and gentle soul and a good listener. Not once did we ever see him angry or frustrated with anyone. He was an awesome arborist, a great table tennis player, and a good cook. We will always remember his goofy sense of humour and mischievous smile.
