Obituary of Agnes Davidson

January 10, 1932 – Whiteabbey, Northern Ireland
November 13, 2023 - Calgary, Alberta

Agnes Davidson, of Calgary, Alberta, passed away peacefully on Monday, November 13, 2023, aged 91.

Agnes grew up on her parents' farm in N. Ireland along with five siblings, and emigrated to Canada in her 20's. She spent her entire career working for the Bank of Montreal, retiring at 55 after 27 years exemplary service. Agnes travelled widely and was an active member of the United Church of Canada. It was here that she met many lifelong friends (you know who you are). Agnes will be remembered for her outstanding generosity and kindness, and for her great sense of humour.

Agnes is survived by nieces and nephews across the pond. She was dearly loved and will be sadly missed by family, friends, and caregivers.

A Celebration of Life will be held at McInnis & Holloway (Park Memorial, 5008 Elbow Drive SW, Calgary, AB) on Monday, November 20, 2023, at 10:00 AM Reception to follow in the Hospitality Centre at the Funeral Home. Family and friends who are unable to attend in person are invited to join Agnes' service streamed live (see below) on the day of the service. For those who are unable to view live, a recording of the service will be posted. Condolences, memories, and photos may be shared and viewed with Agnes’s family here.
