In our hearts, she was always Mom – the heart and soul of our family.

Mom was the spirit that brought our house to life, attending to every detail with a touch that turned our home into a haven of love. Her devotion to family was unwavering, and her love for gardening turned every corner of our lives into a bloom of colors and fragrances.

Her later years, spent in Kellowba, were a testament to her vibrant spirit, cared for by my sister Doreen. Mom, in her infinite wisdom, made it a point to visit her children – Steve, Kevin, and Carole – at least twice a year, making Mother's Day and Christmas extra special.

An adventurer at heart, Mom traveled solo until the ripe age of 98, her infectious smile leaving an indelible mark wherever she went. She attributed her health to a simple mantra – never skip a meal.

Charming, brave, and perpetually adorned with a smile that could light up any room, Mom was truly adorable. Her absence is keenly felt, and I find myself missing her deeply.

As I write down these words, I reflect on the incredible woman who shaped our lives with love, resilience, and boundless positivity.
