Agnes Elliott of Calgary, Alberta passed away peacefully with family by her side on Thursday, November 16, 2023. At the age of 101 years.

 

Agnes was born in Newcastle, England on February 21, 1922. Agnes married Robert Elliott in 1941. She immigrated to Canada in 1952. Agnes loved gardening, knitting, reading and being around family.  Agnes was predeceased by her loving husband Robert Elliott of 60 years.

 

Agnes is survived by her 5 children, Doreen McCarry (Bill), Carole Elliott (Claude), Steven Elliott (Martina), Kevin Elliott (Sylvie), Janet Griffith (Paul); 11 grandchildren, Colleen, Arlene, Christine, Paul Jr., Brent, Darrell, Brighton, Matthew, Jonathan, Hannah and Vivian,; 10 great-grandchildren, Joel, Becky, Kelsey, Josianne, Paul Jr. Jr., Brennan, Lily, Tommy, Brandon, and Dylan; 2 great-great-grandchildren, Cohen and Scout.

 

Funeral Services will be held at McInnis & Holloway (Cochrane, 369 Railway Street, Cochrane, AB), on Saturday, December 16, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. Reception to follow in the Hospitality Centre at the Funeral Home. A Graveside Service will be held at The Field of Honor, Point Claire, Quebec on Friday, May 10, 2024, at 11:00 a.m.

 

Family and friends who are unable to attend in person are invited to join Mrs. Elliott’s service streamed live (see below) on the day of the service. For those who are unable to view live, a recording of the service will be posted. Condolences, memories, and photos can also be shared and viewed here.

 

In living memory of Agnes "Ann" Elliott, a tree will be planted in the Ann & Sandy Cross Conservation Area by McInnis & Holloway Funeral Homes, Cochrane, 369 Railway Street, Cochrane, AB T4C 2E2, Telephone: 403-932-4740.
