Condolences
My son (Roxas) and I had a couple special connections with Noni and Terry. The first connection is that of family. Terry and my Mom (Mary) are first cousins. Noni was family. Our second connection was the Bands of Calgary. When Noni found out that Roxas was a member of the Round Up band she was so thrilled. Her and Terry love the marching bands! She would always ask about how Roxas was doing and sit to watch clips from my phone or look at all the pictures I had taken. This happen for many years through to Stetsons and eventually Stampede Showband.
Noni and Terry were never shy about their love of the bands and their enthusiasm was well expressed on the Stampede Parade route. When Roxas finished one of the parades, he could tell me exactly which corner it was he rounded and heard Terry boom out his name with Noni cheering on right beside him!
Noni, you will always hold a special place in my heart, your smile was large and generous. You always made me smile. Thank you for being YOU!
Sending my love and prayers Terry and family.

Dear Terry, Heidi & Rock, TJ & Sanam, Tobi, Isaiah, and Benjamin,
We celebrated Noni’s life with you virtually this morning. Heidi and TJ, what a lovely tribute to your wonderful mom. It was such a delight to see you Terry, honouring your beloved wife by wearing a clown tie & silly glasses!
When we think of joy, we think of Noni – her smile lit up Douglas Woods Way! We will miss her entertaining stories of how you are all doing.
We will be praying for all of you as you journey on without your wife, mom, and Nana. Your loss will feel profound at times, so hold on tight to God and each other. We hope your memories of the adventures you had together will bring you comfort and fill your hearts with Noni’s joy.

The loss of a loved one is sometimes a deep sadness and we feel your loss but we also reflect with joy on the 50 odd years we knew her and the shared moments in Nelson and then in the lower mainland when your kids were growing and we got to visit and marvel at you family radiance and happiness. The transition To be with god is one we can be happy in and we know she lives on with us in the many wonderful memories
We are thankful for a life we'll lived. God bless you all. Love jerome and sandra
What a lovely service and celebration of Noni! Her legacy lives on and on.
It all makes perfect sense. That boy dotes on that girl. How could he not? The bright twinkle in his eyes gets brighter and brighter whenever he talks about her. This is a true love story…well lived and told!
God bless you and your family Terry. And of course, Happy International Nana Day!
Peace and love †

p.s. Great glasses and tie!
I met Noni and Terry first in 1995, when as a student traveling across Canada, I stayed in their home for a week, while exploring Vancouver. After that I returned several times and she became a dear friend. Also of Selena, my wife, and later our children. Her joy in life was something to admire and envy. I have learned from her to be open and kind to everyone and enjoy life as much as possible. It is too short to be grumpy!
We will miss you, Noni!

Noni's passing saddens my heart. She was my "light" when I was going through the dark days of chemotherapy. Many times she reached out to me with kindness, understanding, support and encouragement. My husband, Dennis, and I cherish the 48+ years that we have known Terry and Noni and will remember her always. Our deepest condolences to all of Noni's family. May your wonderful memories of time spent together help you through your grief. Hugs to all, Anne & Dennis
I am very saddened by the passing of Terry's partner Naomi, Over the years as I listened to many of the stories on how these two special people were enjoying and living their best lives I have been inspired to live my best life. They have been a real lovely power couple. Now Terry, carry on living the grand adventure.
Lots of love.

Terry and Family,
Noni was a great friend, and ambassador of kindness and joy. While I worked with/for Terry, everyone knew Noni as the ray of sunshine and kindness she brought to everyone she met. My deepest condolences to you all.
The body dies but Noni’s body is not entombed. Her spirit is what lives on in her family and those who love her long after her
body returns to earth. Al and I have been blessed to have met her and gifted by her artistic talent.

To Noni's Family, Terry, TJ, Heidi their spouses and loved grandchildren my deepest sympathy for the loss of your wife, mother, and Nana. “Now cracks a noble heart. Good-night sweet princess, And flights of angels sing thee to thy rest.” I worked with Noni at BC Tel / Telus for a number of years, she lit up our office when she arrived. We were a team, she was always ready to help if you needed it, and had a contagious sense of humor. Kindness, love and faith were gifts she shared.. I am exceptionally blessed and thankful to have known her. People do come into you life for a reason!. With Noni's passing there is a hole in the tapestry of life.
I hope to see her on the other side.

Dear Terry and family, Though we have never met, I felt I knew Noni the first time I was on a zoom call with. What a beautiful person she was! I can't believe she is gone! She left a shining star in the sky but a hole in so many hearts. She will continue to shine in the sky above in her very own special way! Remembering Noni for the very special person she was!
