Condolences
My deepest condolences to the Westman family on the loss of Janet. I am shocked and only found out this evening of her passing.

I only just heard of Janet's passing and I am still a little in shock. For a time, we were quite close, going to the gym together every Saturday morning. Janet had an infectious laugh, a loving heart and a brilliant smile. She lived life to the fullest till the end. My thoughts and prayers go out to those loved ones she left behind.
Sorry for your loss. May God's peace and comfort be with you.

Happy to know Janet and to call her my friend.
Proud how strong Janet was in saying good bye.
Sad there was nothing we could do to keep Janet here with us all.

Westman Family and Shelby, I’m very sorry for your loss. I met Janet at Fitness Ridge about 14 years ago. We met on the first or second day of an agonizing, but fun filled 4 weeks there. She became one of my greatest long distance friends. I got to visit her in her home town and a short Las Vegas trip. She really was such a fun person and I’m sorry I didn’t get to see her in these last couple of months, but I know she was surrounded by love. Hugs to you all.
Jay, Diana & Westman Family

Over the last 12 or so years that I have known Janet, we have made a lifetime of memories together on the trips that we have taken, and the other endeavours we have shared along with our friends, Kathleen and Kathy. I am very thankful for the time that we have been allowed to share.
To Jay, Diana, Shelby and your entire families, I send my heartfelt condolences for the loss of such a special person. Janet was the Kindest most brave and strongest person I have had the privilege to know.
One life lived, Many lives touched.
Rest in peace my friend, until we meet again.
I met Janet many years ago through Personal Best Seminars and spent time training and volunteering with her. Although it has been years since we crossed paths I will always remember her sense of humor and how warm and inviting she was with anyone new that she met. To all of Janet's family and friends I am sorry for you loss.
Jay, Diana and Family
Although Janet and I were not in close touch over the last few years, my heart aches for you and your family. I spent many days with Janet over the 50 years we have known each other and have wonderful memories. Please accept my sincere condolences.

What a privilege it was to have the chance to see Janet one more time and celebrate her life as it was meant to be celebrated. My absolute heart and thoughts are with Shelby, Diana and Jay. All three of you were her touchstones during this process and I know she was very grateful to have your support and love through it all. I have been flooded with all my 'Janet memories' this week, especially the ones not suitable to share on the internet!! May she soar with the eagles and touch down and bless us all every now and then.
A message for Shelby
From the moment you, Shelby, showed up (unexpectedly) in our backyard on the swingset with Beth, our lives were made richer once we made her (and your) acquaintances and we are forever grateful for having the privilege to have her in our circle of friends. We will always have amazing memories with both you and Janet, especially our family vacations together to Mexico and Canmore when you girls were small.
If there is ever anything we can do to assist you in life, please feel free to reach out.
Trevor (Forever known as Dude), Jen and Beth Jarrett

Sincerely,

I’ll miss Janet for many reasons, but what stands out to me most was her energy and capacity for fun and adventure. I was lucky enough to get scooped up in it many times and have great memories to keep because of it.
To Jay, Diana and Shelby, my deepest condolences. I hope that the fun you were able to give her in her last months is a comfort to you.
You know how I know that we are good friends? Because I laughed at the gathering you held on Saturday. Every story that someone told reminded me of our great times and the joy that you brought into my life and others. Rest in peace
Until we meet again.
Your Friend Always
Jim Wiedemann
