Keon, Merlon and all the family I'm so sorry to hear of your loss and Janice's passing. She was such a kind and beautiful person, I really miss her. I can still hear her soft kind voice in my head. I'm so sorry that the kids and I are unable to attend the wake and funeral service today. We are sending our love and prayers to all of you.
My sincerest condolences to the Doore Family on the passing of their sister, family member and friend Janice. I remember fondly meeting Janice and the Doore family spending summers on Siksika and developing a great friendship with Janice. Upon leaving and returning to Saskatchewan Janice gifted me a piece of jewelry that I wore proudly. Her smile was so contagious along with her beautiful soul. We have connected over the years and I will always cherish the great memories with Janice and the Doore family. Rest in peace my friend. Love always, Bonnie Shingoose Sawatzky and families❤️
My heart is so sad to learn of my friends passing, I know she is in her Saviours arms now and no longer suffering. Janice was so wonderful to me every time I went to Siksika to do training. Her gentle spirit always encouraged me and I admired her pure heart in helping people through the Crisis Team. I thank the Lord for her and all the precious memories I have of her. May the family know prayers of comfort are being prayed for you in this time of great loss

My dearest sister, I was blessed to play along side with you in baseball, where we were both lefthanded fielders who both caught & threw with our left hands, but we were fast & efficient with our arms. We played basketball together too, but my most memorable moment was when we had to play Broomall against our moms & we beat them. Oops! I remember ur closet full of LEVI jeans. Lol. Also, that dreaded call to Merlon to come pick up all of us teenage girls after our weekend wins or loss celebrations of our ball tourneys. Thx brother for putting up with us, but u always made sure we were safe. Lol. Fly high my dear sister, eternally grateful to be a part of ur life. Siksika has another angel to pray for us & keep watch over us as we go thru life on earth. Aah kut tsii noo tsii yop. Kii tsii kaa ko mim.
Janice was a great person with a huge heart. She cared for the people of her community like no other could. I am honoured to have had the chance to work with her while I was posted to the Gleichen RCMP detachment. My heartfelt condolences go out to her family, friends and the entire community. She will be missed.
