Condolences
Enzo, Antonietta and family please accept my deepest sympathy for the loss of your mom and your mother-in-law. Giulia was such a happy and pleasant lady and her loss is felt greatly. I remember we had such a good time in Israel when we were all together with her and even after that seeing her at church all the time, I am very sorry I was not able to be there the day of her funeral, but I am with you now in my heart and prayers. Please accept my deepest sympathy and I’m sending my love to all of your family, remember our Lord left us. Beautiful memories to remember our loved ones by.

Many memories come flooding back when thinking about Zia Giulia. Every time she came back to Italy it was a special family reunion time, catching up with latest news.
When you live at a distance from the family, you accumulate the affection for the members you can not see every day and deliver it all together during the short period of time you spend with them!
That was the case of Zia Giulia, Zio Vittorio and Enzo.
Since my childhood, my image of Zia Giulia was that of a kind lady very courageous and determined. I could only imagine the strength and willness she had to pour out when she arrived in Calgary in 1960, coming from Bardella, a very small country village, without knowing any English word or Canadian habits.
Zia Giulia succeeded her introduction and became a well known and appreciated member of the Calgary community, esteemed professionally and socially from the most.
Walking around in crowded places with Zia Giulia was always fun! After a few minutes you could find her speaking with someone and socialising no matter the culture or the nation of the other person…!
I would have proposed Zia Giulia for a job at the United Nations.
I will miss you Zia Giulia. Your memories and example will be always with me and I will treasure and use them when teaching my children.
Rest In Peace Zia Giulia.
We love you lots and lots.
