Condolences
Dear Potter Family,
My sincere condolences on the passing of dear Jean. Jean and Al were great friends and neighbours (Ebony Place, Victoria) to my grandparents Carly and Ron Purves-Smith. As a young girl I remember many dinners and outings with them. They would take the time to play and interact with me as a young girl, always making me feel special. One memory that sticks out is they took me to a tea party one afternoon, (I believe it was at Butchard Gardens) a fun memory for me.
Condolences from the Purves-Smith family…

Auntie Jean was always a loving and generous person. She was my second Mum and called me the "other son". She raised a wonderful family who are all in my heart now and forever. Good bye Auntie Jean. God speed. Doug and Barbara.
Dear Janet (my Little J forever) Carol, Mary, Kathy, Andy, Ken and all of your loved ones, your mom, always Mrs Potter to me, was my second mom on Castlehill cres. Your home was my second home sometimes my first, sorry :-). I have too many warm and fuzzy memories of your mom and dad, too many to write. What I will share is, your mom welcomed me into your home way too many times, with that beautiful smile. I am so grateful for the memories that we all shared together. Lots of raw cookie dough eaten on that kitchen table of yours! On behalf of myself, my mom Dawn (so happy they kept in touch) and my brothers David, Robert and Peter, please accept our deepest condolences. Your parents are together again and I’m sure having the time of their lives. Love to all, Jody (Big J) xo
