Roy and I and 2 or 3 others began the RIA accounting programe at the same.
He was a great guy .Ed Ohreen
I met Roy and his whole Rozema family at Maranatha Church when I was very young. I was friends with Margaret for years and I still remember when they brought me home in between the two churches for lunch so I could spend time with her since we lived on opposites of the city. I have very fond memories of all the Rozema family. My condolences to the whole family.
I met Mr Rozema on my first Sunday in church. We were posted back to Calgary and I went to Maranatha that morning hoping to find a new home church. After the service I stayed for coffee with 3 young kids hanging on to me just hoping I would get to know some people. Mr Rozema introduced himself and we talked for a bit. Mr and Mrs Rozema came over for coffee when my parents were visiting and then we found out that my dad were on the same plane when they immigrated from the Netherlands. What a small world. I will always remember his gentle kind smile and I know he left a lasting impression on everyone he met.
Our condolences to the family Rozema.
I have met Roy a couple a times, when they were visiting the Netherlands. Roy and Hanny are my uncle and aunt. When I was 18 years old, I made a big mistake by deciding NOT to go th Canada and visiting my uncle and aunt together with my dad Albert and sister Ina. Holiday was more important.... stupid after all. So I have never seen the living place of them in Calgary.
When I married my wife Esther in Octobre 1989, Roy and Hanny showed themselves as a suprise at our weddingparty. Woh!
Uncle Roy was always interesting and full of jokes.
Loves and strengths.

We will miss our Opa.
Ryan’s grandfather and our daughters’ great-grandfather passed away on January 9 at the amazing age of 95. He was such a caring and gentle person who welcomed me into the family like I had always been there. Though I never knew him at the age he was still paying grandchildren to get his head & back scratched, there was an instant familiarity and I knew I had found a kindred spirit. He did have the name Roy after all (same as my dad), and I did marry his grandson, so there were some family traits passed down there for sure. ;)
Oma, we are keeping you in our thoughts and prayers. Your commitment and love for Opa for over 70 years is so inspiring.
Opa, I have some great memories of you spending time with our daughters that I will cherish and I hope they will remember when they look back at photos too. I’m sad you won’t get to spend more time with your family and especially the little ones you loved so much, but I’m glad you can rest peacefully now.
We all love you and hope they give good head scratches in heaven.
Sincere condolences Hanny and to all the family. We have not known Roy for a long time but will treasure all the time we spent sitting around the dining room table with all of your family. He will be sorely missed. May he rest in peace.
My fond memories of the Rozema family is such a happy one, the Radder and Rozema families have been friends probably since1974 when the Radders migrated to Calgary ,Our condolences to the family !
My first official welcome at Maranatha church was Roy Rozema
It was a pleasure to meet him and his family
As he came from Middelstum the Netherlands my mom also knew him and it was wonderful to meet each other again when my mom came to visit
Thank you Roy for always being positive and friendly
You can rest now in Gods heavenly arms.
Roy's love of singing in church will always be a fond memory for our family who often sat in front of him. Alabare was sung at full volume as, I think, one of his favourite "new" songs. Safe in the arms of Jesus and finding his voice once again. Blessings of peace to all the family.

Our Condolences to Hanny and the entire Rozema family.
I remember Roy and his family on Sunday mornings at Maranatha Church.
Roy was always smiling, happy and joking with everyone.
You always felt good to be around Roy, Hanny and their kids.
I know Roy is in Heaven right now, smiling, happy and joking with everyone.
Rest in peace Roy, you deserve it.
