Dearest Mum...

You have been gone almost 3 weeks and I miss you more everyday :( . You were one of the greatest ladies to ever live. Always thinknig of others, kind to all and a beacon of strength your whole life, in the midst of extreme challenges . Not a day goes by that tears don't run down my cheeks thinking about you. I was so blessed to call you mom and wish God would've let us have you a little bit longer. I look foward to that great reunion day on the other side, when I will see you again. Hilda will always hold a special place in my heart with her laughter and beautiful smile :-) When I think of her, I remember the times she came and stayed for a few days at your house, and I got to know you a little better by asking her questions about your childhood. Valerie, Lowell, Spencer and Ashlyn. I am so sorry. Your Mom was a beautiful lady. It was such a joy to get to know her . Her contagious smile and our many Starbucks visits made my heart smile. I loved hearing her ask, "Is that you Laura?". She taught me to find joy even when life throws you curve balls. She was never grumpy always happy. I will miss her so very much.
