Condolences
My memories of Uncle Bernard are so much a very treasured part of my life from as early as I can remember. From fun times at Emma Lake, to visits at mom and dad’s in Comox, and all the times in between, I will never forget your smile, your laughter and your hugs. Sending my heartfelt condolences to Aunty Ann and family.
Dear Aunty Anne and family,
It was very sad news to hear and our thoughts are with you during this time. The memories of Uncle Bernard shared by Gerry and Aaron was so nice to hear. He will truly be missed by his beautiful family.
Love from Chris and Claudia
If I close my eyesI can picture Uncle Bernard pulling up to mom and dad place! He is sitting so proud in his beautiful blue car! He would take Bob , Sharon and I to Bob’s ball games! If I remember correctly he would even bring some of the neighbours kids along. Yes and ice cream cones were to follow!!!
Thankyou Uncle Bernard for these and many more special memories to look back on!!!
Love you Carol

Sharing Memories: Remembering the time when Bernard and Anne, Ben and I set out on a hike from Johnston Canyon. We got to the Upper Falls and decided to continue on to the Ink Pots not realizing just how much farther it was. The return hike took four hours. If memory serves me correctly, we shared a chocolate bar. Boy, were we hungry, thirsty and tired by the time we got back. I cannot remember the year that hike took place and feel quite certain that Bernard would instantly come up with it as he so often did with all kinds of things we had done.
Our families exchanged so many wonderful meals together, taking in sunshine in the back yard with a beer in hand, many, many bridge games, trips together and so much more!
