Condolences
I just got word of John's passing. I'm immensely saddened to hear the news.
John and I were best friends back at Marymount High School in Montreal. Boy, the stories I could share!
We were both each other's first room mates. In the summer of 75 or 76, we rented an apartment together for 3 months or so. We were spreading our wings lol. I believe it was John's uncle who owned the building we were renting from.
I remember he had tried to get into the RCMP. Getting past the disappointment of not getting accepted, he looked for other opportunities in the law enforcement line of work. Back then, with Quebec in political turmoil (referendums and such), John took the path of many; go to Alberta.
I think of him regularly. I was always intended to get together again.
Taken far too soon.
John was a great guy to work around. I will always remember his easygoing and positive nature. John, you will be missed. Sincere condolences to Colleen and John’s family.
Colleen and families...I was saddened to hear of John's passing...my sincerest condolences, Luisa Pacione...
My sincerest condolences on the loss of a great man. I was lucky enough to know John for most of my 30+ years with the CPS and I always admired his spirit and ethical approach to the tough job we shared. His cheerfulness was unfailing and his smile is eternal. Go to your rest my friend. You will be missed.
