Obituary of Donna Marie Ball

August 28, 1932 - Belleville, Ontario

January 29, 2024 - Calgary, Alberta

Our mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Donna Ball of Calgary, AB, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 29, 2024, at the age of 91 years.

Donna had a full life devoted to helping others. She regularly volunteered for various church organizations, including cooking, donation collection, and making her special cupcake treats! Donna was an avid Calgary Flames hockey fan, sharing her love of hockey with her great-grandchildren, Kai and Nico. Her zest for life was clear to everyone she met, usually while whizzing past them on her scooter.

Donna will be forever remembered for her kindness, humour, and strength by her children, Dwayne, Jammie (Carol); and her grandchildren, Christina (Hung), Dwayne Jr, Justin, Shilo, Nathen, Jenifer, Kasey, and Grace. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Robert Frederick Ball, daughter Jo-Anne, and son Robert Jr.

Donna also had numerous family members throughout Ontario and Alberta that had a special place in her heart, including Sharon (Doug), Davey (Stacey), Ayden, and Chance, all whom she shared her time with, among others.
