Condolences
I am a student nurse who had Sue as a patient in late November/early Dec. I just want her family to know that no one has ever made as great an impact on me as Sue, and I will always remember her fondly. She had the single greatest outlook I have ever encountered and probably ever will. The epitome of a glass is half full person. We shared a love of history, and when I was leaving my shift one day, she asked me for a favour. She asked me to go on an adventure, go somewhere nice, to do it for her because she couldn't right now. I said ok, and then I doubled back and asked, where should I go? She said "heritage park" and we both smiled.
That weekend I went to the brunch at heritage park, and then a little play they put on. I did it for her. She taught me to remember to take time to -live- and I have thought about her often. I am so grateful to have known her even though it was a short time. I saw her uplift in some way every single person she conversed with. One of the rare most special people to have walked the planet and touched so many hearts so deeply.
I am saddened to hear about Sue’s passing. I was her “roomie” at Rockyview Hospital in November. She was so kind and caring,
We had wonderful conversations. I will always remember her getting upset with the lab techs when they came at 5:00am. “Please
Let her sleep!” I am blessed to have met her. Please accept my sincere condolences.
I'm sorry to hear of Sue's passing. I was the accountant for the Irish Rovers Free House and worked with Sue until she moved to Vancouver to work for one of the locations there. Remember the good times. She will always remain in your heart.
