Condolences
I was very sorry to read that Bob has passed away. Although I hadn't seen him for many years, he and I and so many others were in the same class at St. Bon's and Br. Rice for 11 years. To his daughter Alix and to all his brothers, sisters and their families, I offer my heartfelt condolences on his passing. Rest in peace, Bob.
We spent a lot of time on-the-road during our shared time at Husky Energy and Bob's dry sense of humor could always be counted on for amusement. His Tapas Nights were legendary and he was the commensurate gracious host. It's a different world without he contribution to it. Hopefully he's watching his DVD's and sipping wine in perpetuity.
Bob was many things but to me, more than anything he was very funny, right from the day I met him in the cafeteria in September 1967 on the first day of Grade 3 at St Bon's, but he was also kind, very well read and a conversationalist extraordinaire, an excellent travelling companion among his many other qualities. My own mom (Moya to Bob) loved him like her son and I think he knew it too. He was always kind and even came to St John's from Calgary when she died in 2003. He has left his mark on the souls of the many people who had the pleasure to know him. My sincerest condolences to Alix and all the Fardy family at this most difficult time..
My condolences to Bob's family and friends. Bob and I worked together at Cenovus and I loved his stories! As a fellow Newfie, we always had something to talk about. He will be missed.
Deepest condolences Noreen, family and friends. It is so very sad to hear about Bob's passing. Sending hugs and strength to help you though this difficult time.
In sincere sympathy, Vanessa Coish
I met Bob when I was a teenager. I had a crush on him. He was handsome and very funny. We spent many a night at Bradshaw in the basement, carrying on. When his parents would go on trips and Mrs. C would come, I got to hang out as well. She liked the "large one". My sincere condolences to the whole clan, and God Speed to Bob!
We were very saddened to hear about Bob’s passing. He was a true gent…and we recall many lively conversations about food, wine and travel. It was always a joy to be around Bob, especially listening to his sardonic wit while ribbing his brothers, Noel and Keith (Bob usually won). We will miss him.

Noreen and the Fardy family, What sad news! It's never easy but when a person hasn't even scratched the surface of 'old age', that's just not fair. But as we all know, it's also life on life's terms..May the support of one another carry you through this difficult time. My condolences to you all. In sincere sympathy, Gerry Marshall
