Condolences
Sincere sympathy to Helen and the family. I had the pleasure of living across the street from the Bailey family… a lovely family. We had a wonderful childhood living in Crawford Park, playing games of hide and seek until our parents called us in to bed, tag, Mother May I, and roller skating… And, of course, a fun Halloween nights. I have a fond memory of helping Peter deliver the Saturday star magazine. Peter was kind and gentle.
Sincere condolences to Peter’s wife Helen and children Theo and Tanis.
We remember ‘the good old days’ in the 50’s and 60’s when we attended each other’s birthday parties, played Hide-and-Seek, and touch football on Fayolle Ave., with Peter, his cousin and next door neighbour David Martin, the Barracloughs, the Warnocks and the Gallaghers. Lots of great memories of Peter, his Mom Edna, father Art, older sisters Heather, Linda and Andrea, and of course Chummy their little pooch. Sadly, we lost touch as we went our separate ways over the years, and while we are unable to attend the funeral, please know that we will be with you in spirit. Rest in Peace Peter.
