Condolences
Arlene enjoyed participating in the Freefall Writing group at the Alexander Writer's Centre in C Space Calgary at the old King Edward School in Marda Loop. We had many a good lunch and laugh on those Fridays. RIP my friend and my condolences and prayers for her family.

Arlene was a steady support for me when my husband moved in next door. David was too, and Mary always babysat my dog if I had to go out of town. Best neighbours who became lifelong friends. My sympathies to the family. RIP Arlene.
Arlene was my big sis…and we’re talking a lot of years between us! I’ve always said “she was moving out when I was moving in” (16 years actually)
I remember when I was younger and Christmas and birthdays rolled around. I was always excited and looking forward to getting a present from Arlene! No one else wrapped a present like her. She’d do the wrap yes, but then she’d put clear cellophane over top of it and then do the ribbon and bow! Sooo beautiful! And to this day I’ve never been given a present that was wrapped the way Arlene did hers. Just one of many many memories. Hey Arl, I really really miss you. Now who’s going to tell me the ‘way back when’ stories of our family?
