Condolences
Karen and I first met when our community was being built. Her two children (Steven and Kathy) met with my two (Stephen and Jackie) and they bonded and played together from before they went to school. Karen camped outside the local elementary school to ensure they would
have a place for them. Throughout the Elementary and Junior High years the children kept their friendship - even to this day.
Karen and I used to take the kids down to Fish Creek and always ended up at DQ which later on became a wonderful Patisserie. This place was enjoyed by the four parents of these great kids and Karen’s grandchildren and mine have also got to know each other - something Karen and I enjoyed tremendously.
Karen still kept contact after the family moved back to Ontario to reconnect with family there and both her children have ended up back in Calgary - something we both enjoyed.
I will miss Karen but hope to keep the connection through her great kids and grandkids. RIP Karen
So sorry Roger and family...Wishing you comfort at this sad time...x
We wish to send our deepest condolences to all of you. Your mother was a lovely person very devoted to her children. She will live forever in your hearts.
Warmest Regards to you all.
Gail and Ken Guthrie xoxo
Please accept my heartfelt condolences on the passing of your mother. Her love and guidance will forever be a part of you, and her memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew her. I have fond memories of Karen and will never forget the lovely times we had during the holidays and visits out to Lacombe. Love Chris, Sarah, and Murphy
