Condolences
Charlach was so special for me. Free spirited, full of passion and adventure and boundless curiousty are traits I will always remember him by. My mother was blessed to have someone so caring and full of integrity as her Husband. We will love you always. Kelly, Sophie, Thomas and Liam
Our fondest memories of time spent with Charlach, Lorraine and the extended families remain. They speak to warmth and a gift for loving life. Charlach made the difference.
Many of we McCaffery’s and O’Hagan’s were content to spend weekends as spectators of life. Charlach led a most successful attack on that tradition. He was loved for it. He was equally loved for the love, patience, adventure and spirit he passed along to his wife, our sister. Thank you Charlach…Dan, Iris and family.
Our deepest condolences to your family. Charlach was an amazing man and a true gentleman. He will always be a part of my memories; target shooting in the mountains, learning how to downhill ski, beautiful hikes in nature. May his soul rest in peace. God speed Charlach…you will be missed!! God bless to you all…

Charlach was like a second father to me. It seemed like every weekend was meant for an excursion to the mountains, to hike, to ski, to simply be. His passion for the outdoors soon became mine and I’ve passed on as best I can. I remember a ride in the old Country Squire station wagon with a bull terrier after it lost out to a skunk, a very dodgy boat ride near Vancouver Island, summiting Temple…around Charlach life had no limits, I will always treasure his example.
Sarah, Robin and Christopher,
Its so sad for us to see your dad (my uncle) pass. We loved him dearly. He was always such an inspiration and ray of light to me and my family. He will be sorely missed. His accomplishments out number many and I know you were proud to call him dad. I was sure proud to call him my uncle.
Love to you all.

Charlach was a wonderful man. A great husband to my godmother/ Auntie Lorraine. A fantastic leader of excursions and adventures and exercise, who treated my brother and sister and I as if we were his own. He was the first to bring me climbing, to run up a mountain before breakfast, and to make tomato and cheese toasted sandwiches. He will always be a favorite uncle of mine. He will be missed. I am sorry for your family’s loss. It is a great loss indeed.
