My deepest condolences to the friends and family. I met Sherman five years ago at the Esso and we struck up a conversation as he had helped a motorist stuck in a snowdrift. That what Sherman was about helping people. I know this first hand and I had a huge opportunity to have Sherman help myself and Elder Una Wesley at the Sundance in 2023. His help and teaching me how to pick out logs and setup a trappers tent was above and beyond. We drove off into the forest and had an amazing kinship about all of life’s follies. The only thing he needed was a permanent home of his own and he had big plans for his future. Sherman had an amazing spirit and when I hear the drums and singing , I will always remember Elder Una and Elder Philomene’s Sundance and that will be a good memory of my time with Sherman
