Hi Karen, Rob and family. On behalf of my mom and brother, the Bristol family sends it condolences. We have so many warm memories of your mom inviting us into her house to show us her latest work of art or tending her beautiful flowers and garden. My favorite was the Mennonite potato farmers painting! She and your dad brought an artistic flair into our neighborhood. Because of their travels they always had interesting world perspectives to share which made a big impression on me as a kid. She was always interested in a supportive way in the kids in the neighborhood. Hope you find some comfort in the positive contribution she made to the lives of others. Regards, Pam Bristol
HI Family of Ms Will: we were so sorry to hear of Marj's passing. She was a free spirit who expressed her skills and feelings through her art and her good deeds. Marj and George attended Lakeview United Church in Regina where we developed a fine relationship with them before they moved on, and thereafter we lost track of them. We do however remember them fondly - we enjoyed hearing about their travel adventures as they visited international hostels around the world - they were always open-minded and accepting of others, regardless of background, culture and diversity. Marj had an artistic flair and, while we are not art gurus in any sense, we appreciated her wonderful pieces of art that were displayed proudly and prominently in in their Regina home. George, we believe, was a creative potter and I did own one of his pieces at one time, but that is long gone somewhere! We hope that the many lovely memories of Marj will sustain you through this difficult time. She was a woman who spread joy wherever she went.
Sincerely,
Bill and Lily Tingley, 4009 Hill Avenue, Regina, Saskatchewan.
Praying that you and your family find comfort and peace through this difficult time.
We were neighbours of George and Marj in Regina, so sorry to hear of her passing, she had been on my mind lately, now I know why. Sending our condolences and prayers during this time and in the days and months ahead. - Michael & Ara (kiddy korner neighbours on Shannon)
