Please accept our sincere condolences on the passing of Art. We have been friends with your family from the beginning of Art's career with Bawden Drilling and have many fond memories that go back many years. Traveling and working with Art for many years created a great respect for him as a colleague, a friend, a family man and a class act. Art and your entire family will be in our thoughts and prayers.

I am shocked as Art and I go back many years. My deepest condolence to Bonnie and their families. Rita and I have many fond memories both here and in Aberdeen as we shared many occasions. Art was also a Director of the trust I was CEO of in the early 2000’s and was a very valued contributor.

I am so very sad to learn of the passing of Art. I worked for Art for several years at Bawden and he was truly a mentor and friend to me during that time. I have continued to work in the drilling business for now over 40 years and have many regrets today that I did not contact Art to express my genuine appreciation and gratitude for what he meant to my career at that very early point. He was not only incredibly bright and dedicated, but a wonderful person to know and to work with. Bonnie, my sincere condolences to you and the girls. I have thought of you both often during these many years with only the fondest of thoughts and memories.
With my best regards,
Julie Johnson Robertson
Dear Bonnie,
Doug and I were very sad to read of Art’s passing. We know the last years have been
difficult, but we will remember Art for the wonderful gentleman that he was, so kind and
caring to all. We loved our many conversations as he was always so versed on everything,
especially Saskatchewan! Please keep your happy memories close Bonnie during these
sad days and know that we have you in our thoughts and prayers. Our deep sympathy
to you and your family.
Doug and Barbara Baldwin.
I knew Arthur Dumont first as a highly successful and deeply respected University of Saskatchewan graduate and businessman. I came to know him better as a member and chair of the U of S Board of Governors. He was, in the very best sense of the word, a gentleman. He was wise, straightforward, considerate and constructive. He received the University of Saskatchewan's highest honour - an honorary degree - in 2012. In my thirty-seven year career at U of S, I know of no more deserving recipient.
To Bonnie, Lisa, Melanie, Craig, Ted, Ethan, Bryan, Ayva, Caitlin and Tyler - fond remembrances and deepest condolences.
