Condolences
I first met Sandy on a winter vacation in the Dominican Republic. We were on a bus waiting for 4 guys who were taking their time getting another cocktail while we were roasting in the bus. I got out to have a cigarette as did Sandy and her friends Roberta and Judy. We hit it off immediately and found we were staying at the same resort and from that moment on our entire holiday was my friend and Sandy and her friends an insuperable group. I don’t think I have ever laughed as hard on that holiday so we remained best of friends for a lot of years. We stayed with her in her apartment one year and in her beautiful home when we went there for stampede and again laughed until we were sick. I will never forget the times we spent with her as they were very cherished memories. I was so fortunate to meet her wonderful Mom and Dad while they were alive as well as her sister. Her brother actually gave me an acupuncture treatment too and I was able to shop one day pain free! Sandy even came to Winnipeg to stay with me and I know Joan, Kelly and Esther will be so saddened at her passing as we all enjoyed her so much. Sadly our friend Cathy who always had Sandy in stitches predeceased her. Rest In Peace my beautiful friend and save me a seat. I’ll see you soon. Love y
