Condolences
Please join us as we come together to honor the life of Diane Pacey.
We will start the day with a small family gathering on some land just northeast of Calgary. Diane’s wish was to have her ashes set free in the same pond where other relatives have gone before her. All are welcome to join, please keep in mind it is a distance from Calgary and there are no facilities on site at the pond.
If you are seeking a more comfortable environment, we will then meet up in Calgary at one of her favorite pubs, The Kilkenny Pub. This location is kid friendly during the gathering. All are welcome to join and share a toast in celebrating Diane Leslie Pacey’s life.
Date: June 15th, 2024

I first met Diane when my family moved to Calgary in the middle of grade 7 at Viscount Bennett. Rossanne knew Diane from the beginning of grade 7. Diane, Judy, and Carol had been in elementary school together. See photo section.
In conversation one day about 10 years ago, I mentioned I was having a knee replacement and would need someone to stay with me for two weeks. In the blink of an eye, Diane offered. We had fun together during those two weeks. We also holidayed in Palm Springs and had a great vacation together!
70 Years of friendship! I'll miss you, my friend! So many memories. My condolences to Diane's Family.

Thank you all for your condolences and kind words. My mother is missed greatly but is no longer suffering and in a better place. She always had a great sense of humour and it lasted until the end.
She requested to not have a funeral, however I would like to organize a Celebration of Life and will reach out to all of you once I organize something.
I had the privilege of working with Diane for many years. I will fondly remember her great smile and sense of fun. We had so many laughs! Sending love to her beautiful family. You are in my heart.
I first met Diane at an Airport Pro Rodeo meeting. That meeting led to many rodeos from Dogpound to Vegas and San Antonio. In between rodeo dates our friendship grew as we shopped, thrifted, crafted, and shared kid and grandkid tales. Di 1N was one special lady.
Saddened condolences to Di’s entire family. May she rest in peace with her family waiting for her. Love Di 2N
I am so sorry to hear of Diane's passing. I met her many years ago at my moms place in Airdrie, they were very good friends. My thoughts and prayers go out to Diane's family.
I am so sorry to hear of Diane's passing. I had the pleasure of meeting her at my mom's house on many occasions and always had great stories to tell. She will be missed by many. My condolences to the family.
I was very saddened to learn of Diane’s passing. I had not seen her for some time but kept up on her through conversations with a mutual friend. I first met Diane in January 2018 when she was the fearless leader of a driving trip to Yuma. Three of us over 65 in three separate red vehicles, following one another throughout the trip! It was a blast and I look at the pictures and think often of the fun we had.
My sincere condolences to every member of her family. She was an awesome lady.

Diane was such a wonderful lady, and so great to see her around. It has been years, but I do remember meeting her when I was first involed in the Airdrie Pro Rodeo. I will definitely be raising a beer to her honor at this years Rodeo. Thoughts to her family as this difficult time.
