Obituary of Diane Leslie Pacey

Diane Leslie Pacey, mother to Trent, Jenni, Kelly, Kyle, and David, passed away on Friday, April 12, 2024. Her final moments were spent peacefully in a long-term care facility in her hometown of Calgary surrounded by family.

She would have had a hundred children if it was ever possible. Creativity and love for her children shone throughout her life, even in the face of dementia. Her health challenges were a part of her story but not the whole story.

Diane had a deep yearning for the untamed frontier. With a passion for the Western lifestyle, she dreamed of becoming a cowgirl if the opportunity arose. Gifted with creativity, she enjoyed sharing her crafting skills with future generations.

Diane will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Diane’s family asks that she be remembered for the joy she brought to others in life, not the sadness of her passing. She is survived by children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Diane wished to spend eternity with those who had passed before her, so her cremated remains will be scattered on some family property.

To honour Diane's wishes, there will be no funeral service. I invite you to please celebrate Diane’s memory in your own ways.
