Obituary of Rudolf Heinz Dyck

April 13, 1943 – Rosemary, Alberta

April 23, 2024 – Calgary, Alberta

Rudolf Heinz Dyck was welcomed into heaven to be with his Lord on Tuesday, April 23, 2024. He died peacefully in his sleep with his wife at his side, after having precious contact with his children and grandchildren just a few hours prior.

Rudy was born to Jacob and Aganetha Dyck on April 13, 1943, in Rosemary, AB, and spent his childhood on the family farm there.

He is survived by the love of his life, Ann; sons, Kevin and Jeff (Andrea); two precious granddaughters, Brianna and Melody; his brother Paul (Sharon), nephew Bert, niece Shery Dyck and their families, and nieces Brenda (Lorne), Lambden, and Corinne (Vern), Soroka, and their families. He was predeceased by his parents, his brother Ron, and his sister-in-law Elise.

Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Rudy’s Life will be held at McInnis & Holloway (Deerfoot South, 12281 – 40th Street SE, Calgary, AB) on Saturday, May 4, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. Reception to follow in the Hospitality Centre at the Funeral Home.

Family and friends who are unable to attend in person are invited to join Mr. Dyck’s service streamed live (see link below) on the day of the service. For those who are unable to view live, a recording of the service will be posted.
