Obituary of David Walter Beardsell

David Beardsell, the beloved husband of Katherine Beardsell, passed away on Sunday, May 26, 2024, at the age of 77 years, in Calgary, AB.

David was born in Calgary on November 18, 1946, to Raymond and Pearl Beardsell. He graduated from James Fowler High School. Upon graduation, he joined the Calgary Fire Department in 1966. He retired in 2003, allowing for him and Katherine to enjoy several trips to Europe, the United Kingdom, the United States, and Australia.

David is survived by his wife Katherine, daughter Jennifer (Robin) Wallace, son Christopher (Kathleen) Beardsell, and cherished granddaughters, Emily and Olivia Beardsell.

Funeral Services will be held at McInnis & Holloway (Deerfoot South, 12281 – 40th Street SE, Calgary, AB) on Friday, May 31, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. Reception to follow in the Hospitality Centre at the Funeral Home.

Family and friends who are unable to attend in person are invited to join Mr. Beardsell’s service streamed live (see link below) on the day of the service. For those who are unable to view live, a recording of the service will be posted.
