I remember the day Kerry took me flying - September 9, 2018. Wow! What a thrill. It was an experience I will forever treasure. Before we even took off, each of us had to 'weigh in' so the appropriate counter-weights could be added, or subtracted from the glider to ensure it was properly balanced. Kerry was very safety conscious and thoroughly explained everything, what was about to happen and when. Once he ensured that I was safely seated and buckled in, Kerry took his place in the seat behind, we closed the canopy and off we went. Once we were airborne and disconnected from the tow plane, he provided instructions. It wasn't at all noisy like inside a small-engined plane in which headsets are needed. It was so peaceful that we could just talk normally. Kerry's calm manner was also very reassuring. It was obvious that he had a passion and love for what he was doing. However, we didn't just talk about flying (although Kerry didn't once lose focus on the task at hand :) ). We talked about real estate and our similar interests - we both enjoyed our dogs. Of course family was extremely important and he often spoke with pride about Robbie joining him in real estate, and his grandkids. Prior to my flight experience, Kerry was always willing to provide answers to any real estate questions I had. I'll remember his kindness, his sense of humor and his willingness to share. A great guy. I'll miss him. My sincerest condolences to Kerry and his family.
