Obituary of Edith Knupp

November 12, 1925 – Schuler, Alberta

May 30, 2024 – Calgary, Alberta

After a life well lived, Edith Knupp passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 30, 2024, at the age of 98 years, surrounded by family and friends.

Edith was predeceased by her loving husband and sweetie, Grant, just three months prior, as well as her parents, Jack and Emma Singer; and her sister, Esther Wig.

Born in Medicine Hat, AB, on November 12, 1925, Edith later moved to Calgary, AB, where she enjoyed a successful career with Primco for over thirty years.

Edith and Grant were married for 65 years; though they did not have children, they shared a rich and full life together, engaging in many hobbies and enjoying each other’s company.

The family extends heartfelt thanks to the staff at Rocky Ridge Retirement Community and to Dr. Vanessa Miller for their dedicated care and support.

As per Edith’s wishes, no funeral service will be held. A cremation will take place at McInnis & Holloway (Calgary Crematorium).

Friends wishing to honor Edith’s memory are asked to please make memorial donations directly to a charity of their choice.
