A couple of years ago Dave came to visit I picked him up at Manchester Airport and as we got into the car I told him there was two pork pies and two sausage rolls on the back seat for the journey home .The pies were gone before we left the car park and the sausage rolls before we got to m62 , he fell asleep with a smile on his face only to wake up two hours later as we arrived home .
Putting his bags down he asked if the chippy was open so that was dinner sorted , we made several returns there throughout his stay and along with the daily full english breakfast by the time came to go home he had put on a few pounds and he was starting to sound like me again , said he'd get back to normal when he got home.
