Obituary of Ruth Matthews

July 24, 1926 – Lethbridge, Alberta

June 23, 2024 – Calgary, Alberta

Our beloved mom, grandma, great-grandma, and great-great-grandma passed away on Sunday, June 23, 2024.

Ruth was predeceased by her husband Roscoe, daughter Wendy, sons Rocky and Mark, and grandson Preston. Ruth leaves to mourn her children, Barry (Jean), Lynn, Jesse, Rita (Gary), Jane (Jon); sixty-one grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren, along with many nephews, nieces and many cherished friends. Ruth was from a family of fourteen children and was the last living child of Ben and Cynthia Dunn.

Please join us for a Celebration of Ruth’s Life and share your memories with us. Funeral Services will be held at McInnis & Holloway (Park Memorial, 5008 Elbow Drive SW, Calgary, AB) on Saturday, July 6, 2024, at 2:30 p.m. Immediately following the service, a light lunch will be served in the hospitality room.
