Condolences
My sincere condolences and prayers to the Fitzgerald family. While I live in Houston and work for Apache I have known Rob on a professional level for many years and worked with him on both AIM UP and to deliver better information to people. He is also a great friend who I would meet with after hours in both Houston and Calgary and we shared many discussions and stories together. What a great man. Fun and nice to be with in so many ways whether the office or after. He will be missed but he was so liked and loved by so many.

Dear Mary, Mac and Shannon,
We were so sorry to hear about Rob’s illness and passing, and wish we could be there to offer hugs and help. It was always a pleasure to meet Rob at the Stamps football games – a bit of good-natured ribbing and discussion, and fun in the sun. We’ll miss him, and hope that all of you will find peace in your memories of him in the days to come.
Love Lynn and Mike
Please accept our deepest sympathies for your loss. Although Rob only came into our lives a couple years ago through curling, it was obvious he had a love for life, his family and having a good time. His spirit and willingness to compete regardless of the situation will be sadly missed.
Mary, Mac and Shannon – so sorry to hear of Rob’s passing. Please accept our heartfelt sympathies. As we watched him fight the cancer, we definitely felt he would be one to make it through. Wish we could be there to support you now.

This past year has been very painful and devastating for all of you, but we hope that your many treasured memories of Rob will help to sustain you at this very difficult and sad time. You are uppermost in our thoughts.

Not a day goes by where I wouldn’t take a page out of Rob’s book and use it to better myself. Many others would say the same. He will be missed but never forgotten.
My real and deep and heartfelt message to the whole family. Rob, to me was a football fan who sat in front of us for 10 years at the games and I appreciated his passion for the game and his dedication for all that was right about being a fan. He enjoyed the games for win or loss. It is a great loss for your family and all of us who enjoyed his great spirit.

We were very sad to hear of Rob’s illness and his passing. Our deepest sympathy to the entire Fitzgerald family. We have known Rob since the boys played tyke hockey together and our families have spent many an hour together at the local rinks. We knew Rob as a dedicated coach, volunteer, and most importantly a great friend. He will be dearly missed. May your memories give you peace and comfort in the days ahead.
Sheila and I would like to express our condolences to the Fitzgerald Family for your loss.
We would see Rob jogging through Auburn Bay on many occasions and would have a chat and a few laughs.
I worked with Rob on some hockey evaluations that we coordinated together and enjoyed the time we spent together.
Rob was very passionate about Shaw Meadows Hockey and especially Mac’s progress. He gave many hours as a volunteer.
Our thoughts and prayers are with Rob’s family and friends. We know he will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
My sympathies Mary, Mac and Shannon. I will always remember Rob’s passion for minor hockey and endless efforts to help with the difficult tasks that sometimes stood in the way of the Team. His heart was always in the right place and I will always appreciate knowing him and being able to work along side of him over the years.
Good Morning,
I was very sad to read of Rob’s passing this morning. I did not know Rob really well but in my dealings with him at NSD, where he was passionate about Mac’s development, it was fun to discuss th many things we talked about. These conversations led to my dealings with Rob, in bringing the CBHA and NSD to the new South Fish Creek Rec complex expansion. Rob was a very refreshing person to deal with. I thoroughly enjoyed my talks & dealings with Rob.
On behalf of our family, our sincerest condolences on Rob’s passing.

Dear Mary, Mac, Shannon, Shane, Sarah, Christa and Uncle Tom, We are holding you close in our hearts at this sad time. Rob was a loving, vibrant, cousin who openly demonstrated love for family. I was one of Rob’s first “guinea pigs” when Apache started the AIM UP program in 1992. I think I probably ended up working with him on and off for the better part of 15 years. I don’t think I ever met anyone who was more committed to his work or beliefs than Rob nor anyone who had a stronger belief in the ability of others. I certainly wish all his family the best in the years to come and hope that they find comfort in knowing that Rob truly was a good human being.
Dear Mary,
We’re so sorry to hear about Rob’s illness and his death. We wish you and Mac and Shannon everything good that is possible, and wish you the blessing of peace in the times ahead. Our thoughts are with you,
Love Lois and Rick
I’ve known and worked with Rob for over twenty years. Although we had a professional relationship, I also considered him a friend. Although his life was cut too short, it was lived with fullness and in a manner that impacted all he met. We all will miss him and grieve his passing. May you be comforted by the arms of the Lord.

With deepest sympathy to the entire Fitzgerald Family.
Our thoughts are with all of you.

Mary and family,
Please accept my deepest condolences on your loss. We at Apache in Houston feel a tremendous sense of loss as well. Rob was such an integral part of the Apache culture and his legacy lives on through his Aim-Up initiative. Rob and I were soul mates of sorts and would have great discussions on all topics at the end of many a day that found him in Houston. My prayers are with you.
My heartfelt sympathy to the family on your loss. I will always remember Rob for his kindness and generosity, over the years at the Flames games where I’ve served him. After serving a great many people I’ll always remember him for his genuine concern about my several lengthy absences this past season.
Most sincerely Lisa g
