Tara Deschner
I was sorry to hear of Mona's passing - she was a kind and caring lady! Our families had neighbour farms south of Dodsland - our fathers often helping each other as farmers did back then, sometimes even borrowing equipment (I've been told). When the Lawrences, Ed and Ruth retired to Calgary Mona made a point of visiting them and attending our special occasions. She would let my folks rattle on about the "good old days" on the farm! She always sent them the Hannaford Christmas letter and would send pictures of her family and their special occasions.
With sympathy and love, Tara and family
