Condolences
My name is Gail Daniel and I am Maureen’s nephew, Cam Welsh’s administrative assistant, I only had the opportunity to meet Maureen a couple of times, however they were so special, we had lunch visits when she was travelling through Toronto, she is a true light and my heart goes out to her family and friends, May the strength of God help out at this most difficult time.
Sad to hear of the passing of Maureen. My sincere sympathy to her family. Sorry I don’t get around much & unable to attend the service. Dorothy Barnum(Payne) Classmate Nursing Class of 1949
We’re sorry for your loss. Maureen was a wonderful friend. A memorial donation will be sent to Parkinsons Alberta.
Our deepest sympathy to the family on their loss. Maureen was an inspiration to all her friends for her love of life, family and sports, especially golf. We will miss our times together with Maureen, she was a good friend.
Please accept our sincere condolences on the loss of you mother (and, for Rhys, grandmother). She was a lovely lady, and no doubt you will miss her. She leaves many fine memories of good times and great love; may they bring comfort and peace to you in time.
Please accept our sincere condolences. We know how hard it is to lose a mother. Yours was a lovely lady and no doubt leaves many fine memories of good times and great love. May they bring you comfort and peace as time goes on.
We will always remember Aunt Maureen fondly. She was quick witted and had the most engaging giggle. She loved being a Welsh and a Hill and was blessed with a long marriage to Uncle Don Hill. She brought us up to speed on Dr. Welsh and Ethel , his wife. I learned things about medicine in the 20th century that I didn’t know from Aunt Maureen. She loved her family and was close to them even though separated by distance. They were in her heart. She always brightened our day when she called and really shone when she visited with us, on her way through to Bermuda. She also was a long term golfer (god bless her). May she enjoy socializing in heaven with all of our loved ones. Cam and Sharon Welsh (Brampton, Ontario)
Our dear Aunt Maureen- vivacious and vibrant to the end. We will miss our Christmas get-togethers in Toronto, lovely visits at her house, sharing crosswords, and enjoying time together. The Roughies will miss their biggest fan! Always remembered and loved, Helga and John
Our condolences to Maureen’s family. She was a wonderful, caring individual always able to lift my spirit in times of stress or sadness. May you have many happy memories to get you through the trying days to come.
Marie and Steve Hosier
Aunt Maureen will always be fondly remembered by me for her energy, great quick laugh, her raspy voice and her caring manner when our family was passing through Calgary to Katepwa or when we were all at Katepwa.
I will miss her.
Maureen was a very special friend and neighbour for almost twenty nine years and her presence will missed every single day. Always cheerful, compassionate and sincere; Maureen inspired many of us to embrace our families and engage in our communities. We are thinking of you, with deepest sympathy, today.
Sincerely, Cheryl, Mark and Jordan
My condolences to you all. I have many happy memories of times spent with Maureen. She has been my friend for 60 years. I know you all have wonderful memories and I hope they will help you at this time. We will all miss her.
To the families, Hill, Kennedy, and Welsh my sincere condolences to you. I admired Maureen and thought of her as my aunt. Hugs to you all. Love Jeff
Georgenna my mother graduated with Maureen from the Regina General Hospital of Nurses. She is sad from the passing of a dear friend and wishes to tell you of her empathy for the family at this time. She is computer illiterate so she could not send this message herself but asked me to send it for her.
May your family be close in love and remembrance.
Georgenna Ferguson and her son Douglas.
My deepest sympathy goes out to all the family. Maureen was a wonderful friend & neighbor for over 40 years. She will be fondly remembered and sadly missed. May all your memories one day bring a smile instead of a tear, comfort instead of heartache & hope instead of sorrow. Maureen will remain in my thoughts and prayers – Rosemarie Kraft
