Condolences
Wendy was a gem! I had the good fortune of teaching with Wendy for 15 years. We shared many deep conversations about teaching and students, we enjoyed many laughs and sat side by side in many meetings. She always shared stories about her family, who she referred to her “guys” It was obvious she loved her family. She was always working at the school, especially on the weekends. I miss her smile. I will have to attend by video stream. She is in my prayers.
I have fond memories of working with Wendy when I began my career at St Jude school, and later at St Philip school. She was always welcoming and warm, even with new teachers, and her smile and laugh really helped to build the culture of the school community. I learned a lot from Wendy, and enjoyed collaborating with her. My condolences to your family on your loss of your beloved aunt and sister. She left an incredible legacy and touched many lives.
Jackie and family, please know that our thoughts and prayers truly are with you at this difficult time. We all loved Wendy’s no nonsense approach, her quick witted and often “cheeky” sense of humour and her loyalty to family and friends. She was a master teacher, with a brilliantly creative mind, she was a wonderful friend and an angel on earth. I think we can all whole heartedly believe she is now an angel in heaven. We miss you dear friend.
Love and hugs, Kari
