Some of my best memories over the past two and a half years are of my visits with Joan. We had many wonderful chats about growing up in Regina (her in the 30's and 40's, me in the 60's and 70's), as well as the many events and people in her life that made her heart sing. She is and will forever be an unsung hero who touched the lives of many with her love, grace, and hospitality. Her deep trust in and love for her Saviour and LORD Jesus were lovely to behold and while I'll miss her here, I'm grateful to know she (probably) RAN into His arms and is now reunited with her loved ones who have gone on before her. I'll see you soon, sweet girl - you have blessed me beyond measure.
