Condolences
CJ was one hell of a hockey player and an even better teammate, really enjoyed having him as a teammate. He was a good person and would do anything for you. He was a riot in the dressing room, always joking around and laughing. Condolences to all of CJ’s family and friends. Lost a good one. Rest in peace.
I'm an Upgrading instructor at SAIT, and although I never taught Chandler, his presence throughout Natoysopoyiis and Academic Upgrading was significant. Last year, he gave a thoughtful and encouraging welcome speech to the new Indigenous Pathways Program students which touched many hearts. His journey through adversity still resonates with me and the many students here on campus. My sincerest condolences to his family.
Chandler was one of my students at SAIT. He was a joy to be around, always working to be an even better person. He was supportive of his classmates and quick to share a fun story. One of my favorite memories is the day he found out two of his classmates, both originally from outside Canada, had never made a snowman. Since it was a day with perfect snow for making a snowman, he insisted they come outside at break time and build a snowman with him. His friendly face will be sorely missed.
CJ was my best friend !
Is family and hockey was his life !
I’m heart broken and cannot find the word how much I will miss him
playing hockey with him was and honour he made me a better person !
Condolences to the family and friends!
