I am so sad to hear of CJs passing. t's a tremendous loss for his family and friends. I met CJ through hockey, which I started playing at 42. He was one of the main reasons I continued—his kindness, encouragement, and inclusivity knew no bounds, regardless of age, skill, or background. Even in recent years, when our encounters were brief at the arenas, he always made time for a quick chat and a warm hug.
