Dear Tamara and family :

My sympathy to all of you in the passing of your dear dad. He and your mom always sat behind us at St. Bonaventure Mass.

You and Kerry were good friends over the years. She came here in June, got Covid and ever since had lost her taste and smell.

I hope your fond memories of times together with your dad will help sustain you in the coming days. I remember your mom every night in my prayers. I have been in the Lake Bonavista Retirement home for 3 years.

I remember laughing with Russ at our kids hockey games .He was always an upbeat personality and proud of his family. A life well lived.

Allan is a loss to the life of his family & friends. My sincere condolences. He was such a good fun loving man with a great heart of kindness. Going back in time, I grew up with Rusty in the Beiseker area. Five of us all related, batched in Calgary for a few years before we got married. We often called each other by our mother’s first name in German, shared cooking, cleaning & many fun times together. God bless the whole family in your journey of life.

Russ and I met later in life, after he became a widower. We met at the Mesa Regal RV Resort in Mesa, Arizona, and enjoyed spending time together golfing, playing pool or just relaxing over beers in the park. In subsequent years we connected occasionally in Calgary for beers and snacks at Brewsters or Hudson’s. Russ was a fun guy to be around and a very positive, considerate person and friend. I will miss him greatly.
