I was saddened to learn of Linda's passing. She was a wonderful colleague at City Council where we worked together for many years on many important civic projects. I'll remember her dedication to the communities she represented and her ability to see the positive in any situation. I'll always remember serving with her on the Calgary Public Library Board and her tenacity around pushing for a new central library, which happened very soon after. My sincere condolences to Kyle and all the people who loved Linda.

I am so sorry to hear of Linda’s passing. We were first elected to City Council together in 1995 and learned the Council ropes together. Linda was smart, fun, hard working, dedicated, compassionate and a great friend. She will be missed by many. Patti Grier

My sincere condolences to Linda's family and friends. I have good memories of spending a week with Linda in Mexico (one of which was seeing her dance to YMCA on a boat trip - I did promise I wouldn't share that but she is now laughing as I write this). She had a kind and thoughtful soul and she will be missed.
