Obituary of Leslie Anne Reinhardt

September 28, 2024 – Calgary, Alberta

 

Leslie Reinhardt, the beloved wife of Wolfgang Reinhardt of Calgary, AB, passed away from a brief illness on Saturday, September 28, 2024, at the age of 78 years, after entering the hospital on Sunday, September 22, 2024.

 

Les was born and raised in Calgary, AB, where she met her husband, Wolfgang Reinhardt.

 

She went to school at Western Canada High in Calgary, graduating from Strathcona Girl’s School, Shawnigan Lake, BC, and making lifelong friends along the way.

 

Les was athletic and excelled at badminton and skiing. She was a longtime volunteer with the Calgary Food Bank and numerous City and Provincial election campaigns. Les also liked to travel and to go ‘cruising', particularly the Rhine and Panama Canal.

 

Leslie was predeceased by her parents, Frederick and Ursula (Nee Weston) Peacock.

 

At Leslie’s request, the family will be celebrating her life privately.
